Apo pantos kakodaimonos - Away, all vile spirits!
Khaire,
I have been very busy this evening. And am sorry I may
not have the time to post something new every day. However, I
shall make a vow to "try" to post at least once a week. This means
if I am lucky things will be well enough on this side I can have
free time to "write".
This morning my husband let me sleep in..What a dear he can be!
Last night Aphrodite paid me a visit. He told me he had been
sensing something dark and not the good variety. He brought home
some candles and some incense for us to ready ourselves for what
might be coming. We have been hit with a bad tide of good luck
for the past year. Some good things have happened of course.. but overall almost every week something tries to
bring us down either
on the physical or spiritual plane. We are stronger for having
surviving what has been sent our way and it brings us closer.
I was doing laundry and went to place the wet clothes into the
drier. I remember thinking "Gee I hope this thing does not catch
fire". The drier would not start up and made some funny noises..
I saw and smelt smoke which meant FIRE!!!! I saw flame inside
my drier and it was burning and catching onto the clothes.
I ran to get some water and managed to get the fire down and out
without the fire alarms going off.. I got it under control in
time before it became a problem. Phew!!
Wow.. so any ways then I went and got some Sandalwood incense
and lit it in the bedroom where one of the altars is kept..
I then lit Hestia's red candle, The Olympians White Candle, Apollon's Yellow, Aphrodite/Eros = Green. I had been
using them during the week
so they were good to go. I praised them for helping me to save
us from the wicked flame, and prayed that they would stay and
protect us. I then took another Sandalwood stick,
(I prefer sticks because they make great wands)
and went to the scene of the fire... I made sure it was unplugged
and checked again to make sure the fire was totally out..
I then focused on the Unicorn that protects that room. I praised
and thanked him for coming to our aid when it was needed and for
helping to warn me. I have a beautiful picture of a male Unicorn
standing on a mountain cliff overlooking a verdant valley. There
is a castle off to the distance and a rainbow and a waterfall. It
is rather lovely.. I had cast protection in every room of the house.
We really need it, our apartment building is haunted. We try to only
let in the good variety of spirits.. They are always welcome.
I will be happy when we move.. I am going to be focused on that
until we have a new home. I am much looking forward to leaving
here and finding something out of the city and closer to the
country.
Tonight I was working on a spell to increase our luck and ward
away the bad variety we have been plagued with...
